Ashe County Veterans Ceremony

On Saturday, Nov. 7th at 11 a.m., the Rotary Club of Ashe County, in partnership with the Museum of Ashe County History and the Ashe County Government, will be hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony.

This event will take place at the Museum of Ashe County History and will include special displays, music by Frank Little and Friends, light refreshments, and photo tributes. The Ashe County High School JROTC will provide the colorguard as we take part in our national anthem, which will be performed by Bailey Fairchild and Kinley Greene.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Gulf War veteran Craig McClure.

We encourage all veterans and their families to stop by for the occasion! After the ceremony guests are encouraged to enjoy some refreshments and tour the museum and our veteran's exhibits.

This event is FREE and open to the public. The Museum of Ashe County History is located at 301 E. Main Street in Jefferson, NC. For more information, call (336) 846-1904.
