Make a Difference
Support the Museum of Ashe County History by volunteering your time, talents, or energy—help us preserve the past and bring history to life!
There are several ways you can get involved. The museum is always looking for volunteers to help serve as docents, help set up for special events, build exhibits and displays, do housekeeping, and more! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you should stop by the museum during their regular hours of operation and fill out a volunteer application.
Those looking to help should also consider becoming a Museum of Ashe County History member.
For $15 annually, members receive a seasonal newsletter (four issues a year) and 10% off of any purchase in our gift shop.
For $25 annually, you can become a joint member of the Museum of Ashe County History and Ashe County Historical Society and will receive our seasonal newsletter, 10% off any purchase in our gift shop, as well as 10% off of the Historical Society's website.
The Museum of Ashe County History also accepts one-time donations, which may be sent to our mailing address or via our organization's PayPal account.
